How to increase AFS awareness in India?

We know that a massive marketing campaign is not the best answer. What is the audience we need to address? What are the people we need to influence to make our organization more present in the country? Who needs to be target for AFS to be known in India?

  1. correct, massive campaign is not an answer.

However,I think we can start by focusing on few basic and doable things.

can we increase the visibility of our returnees?
can we involve the people with greater visibility and influence on the youth.

For example, cricket is a popular game as we all know.Pathan brothers are known Icons from the world of cricket and they are very much at Vadora.I think with some efforts we can arrange a talk show of Pathan brothers with our returnees in front of the local media.
By involving them wit AFS-VAdodara in varieties of ways can increase the visibility.

this are some thoughts to share.
    Jignesh.

  2. The Best Way to increase or create awareness about AFS INTERCULTURAL PROGRAMS is "Word of Mouth".

It can only be achieved by having more and more Active volunteers and Returnees who can make it happen and possible.

Audience we need to address is mainly School Students age between 15 to 17.5 yrs and their parents.

The people we need to influence will be Principal & Teachers of the schools, District Education Officers and The Education Minister of the State as well as the country.

In a nutshell, all type of Schools, NGO & Govt. Education Depts. needs to be targeted.
